The new deadline for paper submission is July 1st 2020

Thank you very much for your attention and continued interest. We look forward to seeing your innovative, exciting research efforts at the conference. Please also consider to distribute the CFP below to your network!

IEEE Communication Society, SmartGridComm Steering Committee and the 2020 Organizing Committee have been closely monitoring the developments regarding the COVID-19 virus situation. The safety and well-being of all our conference participants and organizers is our top priority!

After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, and considering the difficulties authors may have in completing and submitting their papers for consideration, the 2020 Organizing Committee has decided to postpone the paper submission deadline for 2020 SmartGridComm to June 3rd.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and are actively working on back-up plans to adjust the conference execution (e.g., going virtual or postponing the date etc.) if circumstances warrant such adjustment. We will keep you all updated on any changes.

Stay safe and healthy!

The SmartGridComm 2020 conference program will include four exciting workshops on machine learning, analytics, edge computing and optimization for smart grids. More information on the workshops and submission instructions can be found here.
